Outpatient Services

We believe that mental health services are best when:

Our staff of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, case managers, and addiction counselors work as a team to ensure that persons are provided a full range of services in an atmosphere of privacy, confidentiality and professionalism.

Wabash Valley Alliance also provides 24-hour availability when there are emergency situations requiring assessment and crisis intervention. Persons of all ages come to Wabash Valley Alliance out patient offices for assistance with concerns such as:

  • Depression or suicidal thoughts
  • Marital and family problems
  • Alcohol and drug abuse
  • Sexual abuse
  • school problems
  • Anger
  • Disruptive behaviors
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Stress management
  • Parent-Child conflicts
  • Effects of aging
  • Work performance issues
Our main goal is to help persons find solutions to problems for which they request assistance. We base our work with individuals and families on the following basis:
  • Clients have resources and strengths to solve problems.
  • People are accountable for their actions and can usually change actions regardless of background, mental status or emotional state.
  • The clearer clients can be about the goals they wish to accomplish the greater the chance that they will obtain those goals.
  • Problems can be managed effectively and efficiently without dwelling on past events.
  • People can change; it is possible to resolve problems rapidly.
  • Change begins as soon as the client asks for services; each contact with Wabash Valley Alliance professionals can help clients achieve their goals.
  • Therapy is a joint project that clients and professionals work on together.

Many services are partially or fully covered by Medicare, Medicaid, private or group insurance, or other third party payors. We work with our clients to make treatment affordable.
